SUMMER ESSENTIALS - PART I

We at the SAFEteam were chatting the other day about blog posts...what to do?! KB Shimmer suggested Summer Essentials...things that you just shouldn't be without this fast approaching summer!!! So, here is our first installment! There will be a couple more in the coming days, so stay tuned! Hope you find something you can't live without!

This Soap-To-Go by Angie's SudsN'Such is perfect for nature lovers! It fits right in your backpack and is ready to go with you on your next adventure! When you’re finished using your awesome new portable soap (that all your hiking buddies will be jealous of cuz they forgot their soap and now they're dirty and stinky) just put the lid back on and you’re ready to go! No messy wet soap to deal with. Twist top cap ensures that the lid won’t come off and make a mess in your bag.
During the summer months, your skin needs a little extra attention. Sunblock, outdoor grime, and perspiration all contribute to a dull complexion and clogged pores. Copperlilly Botanicals summer must-have is a charcoal facial soap. The charcoal adds to the cleansing power while copious amounts of olive oil and unrefined shea butter keep the lather gentle. Pair this with a crocheted facial scrubbie for gentle exfoliation. This combo will leave your face feeling clean and soft. Black Oz with Tea Tree oil is the most popular, but other favorites include Black Licorice, Black Rose, Black Tea, Black Lavender, and Fragrance Free for those with extra sensitive skin.
With people exposing more skin during the summer, and getting feet ready for sandals, getting rid of nasty dry skin is a must! KB Shimmer's Single Use Sugar Scrub is perfect for this!! Sometime you don't want to drag a whole jar of scrub into the shower, or want to scrub at the sink. These single use sugar scrubs (sugar cubes) are perfect! Each scrub piece is about .4 oz, enough for a whole ton of scrubbing.
